“ i love this place it's my little local place. great ramen i love the spicy miso ramen and they have nice quality of fish which i appreciate im a little picky. i've just never really been disappointed here, delivery or in person. and they're open late!! ”
“ Warm friendly service! Sushi was fresh and the ramen was such a delicacy! Great experience from the moment I walked in and left with not only a satisfied stomach but eager to come back! Ambience was luxurious and the bathrooms were CLEAN! ”
“ 2.18.25 Update Been a customer since 2007-8, not sure what happened to my original post but it's somehow been deleted. This location has recently rebranded itself from being a Kanpai location to being Ks Bistro. This location must have higher costs for some reason as pricing has been different in the past not sure now. Quality seems a tad bit better too. You get what you pay for though. IMHO either location is the best sushi in LA period. Parking is easy. Service is Japanese, not American! Ie don't send anything back it's rude and you'll get kicked out for it. Vibe is chill. Gets crowded so be prepared. Kept it at a 4 as there's a few things keeping this location from a 5. ”
“ Recommended restaurant for late night dining. I enjoyed hot saké and yakitori at latenight for a great price. Great variety of saké and useful for special occasions! ”
“ One of my go to sushi spots in the area, we come here so often, at least once a month. The staff here are just amazing, everyone is so nice. Not to mention the foooooood. They have an omakase that changes often based on seasonal items and it is such a good meal. For $120 per person you get so much food so definitely go hungry if you plan on trying the omakase. They have a huge selection of both authentic items and items more "fusion". I always go for the authentic dishes but it's great to have the option if you are going with a larger group. ”
“ AMAZING FOOD AND EXPERIENCE!!!! First of all, when you come here ask to be served by Peter, he made the experience incredible! We told him we wanted a more traditional Japanese experience and he brought us food that is VERY traditional and everything tasted incredible. But not only was all the food amazing, Peter took the time to explain each dish to us and how/why the food was prepared and what they did in Japan over the century's to make these dishes. I'll for sure be back soon!!! ”
“ We sat at the bar, and the sushi chefs were super friendly. The sushi was incredibly fresh, and everything was served quickly. We also enjoyed a bottle of sake recommended by our waitress--it was excellent! The interior had a charming, traditional Japanese restaurant vibe--nothing too fancy but very cozy. We went during happy hour, so our bill was very reasonable considering how much we ordered. Overall, a great experience! ”
“ The original Kanpai Sushi in Westchester now K's Bistro by Kanpai is still same with excellent food and service I will admit the word "bistro" describes the atmosphere in the Establishment more than a "sushi bar" Freshest fish and tasty broth if you order their ramen Staffing doesn't change - they were workers at Kanpai now K's for decades A definite must if you're in the area ”
“ Tried K's Bistro for the first time and it was so good! Good for small groups and they might be able to accommodate a big group of maybe 10 max, but I'd call and ask. Personally I wouldn't do more than a group of 6 because it's not a big place. They have street parking and a small shared parking lot around the corner. Their menu is big but not overwhelming. There was 5 of us there and we tried so many things. The fish quality is immaculate. I'd definitely come back here again. ”
“ Looking for a late night bite after my daughter's performance at Loyola Marymount University. K's was nearby and open late. It's a relatively small spot right outside campus. Street parking was easy just a few feet away from the door. We were greeted and seated immediately upon entering. Was fairly busy late on a Friday. Our server was prompt and appeared to be the main man in the dining room being assisted by one other. The menu mainly focuses on sushi. Moderately priced. Saw they had an Omakase offering for $120, which I was intrigued by but not late at night. We ordered the tofu salad, California roll, Crab Lover Roll, Tonkatsu Ramen and salmon teriyaki. The rolls came out quickly. Made to order by the sushi chefs behind the bar. A bit on the small side but very fresh. The tofu salad came out soon after. A hearty bowl for this salad. Could be shared as an appetizer or a small meal. After a while the salmon came out which was served with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The ramen took a while to be served. Not sure why, but was a good sized serving. Didn't try the salmon or ramen but those who ordered them said they were good. We finished off our meals with a trio of mochi and deep fried ice cream. Sadly I couldn't capture the fried ice cream prior to being devoured. Definitely would return to try the omakase menu. I noticed other tables focused on the sushi and looked amazing. Keep on Yelp'n! ”
